Cashback comparison

A cashback portal is a website or browser extension that pays you back part of what you spend when you start your purchase from its link. The portal earns an affiliate commission from the store and shares a slice of it with you as cash, points or miles. Because every portal negotiates its own commission and runs its own promotions, the same store can pay 2% on one portal and 10% on another on the same day, and the ranking changes constantly. The rates you see are the rates the portals themselves publish; we do not adjust them, and the time of the last check is shown on every store page.

There is no single answer. The portal that pays the most changes from store to store and from day to day: one portal may lead at one retailer while a different portal leads at the next, and a weekend bonus can move a portal from fourth place to first for a few hours. That is exactly why this site exists: to answer the question for the store you are about to shop at, today. Open that store's page and read the current ranking. The top row is the highest rate we found at the last check, and the rest of the table shows how far behind the alternatives are. If you already have an account with a portal that is only slightly behind, the difference may not be worth a new sign-up; if the gap is large, the comparison pays for itself on a single order. You can also set an alert on any store to be notified when its best rate changes.

Discounted gift cards are sold by marketplaces and resellers for less than their face value: a $100 card bought for $92 is an 8% saving before you have chosen anything. GotCashback tracks these offers for hundreds of brands and shows the best current discount for each store alongside its cashback rates. The two savings can often be combined. Buy the gift card first, then start your order through a cashback portal and pay with the gift card at checkout; the portal pays cash back on the order, and the gift card discount lowers what you paid for it. Two things to check before you stack: some stores exclude orders paid with gift cards from cashback, and buying the gift card itself rarely earns portal cashback, so it is the order that earns the rate. Gift card inventory changes quickly, especially for popular brands, so the discount shown is the one available at the time of the last check.
